Research
Main research interests
My research focuses on the analysis of nonlinear partial differential equations, in particular double nonlinear evolution equations or degenerate/singular parabolic-elliptic(-hyperbolic) equations, and the study of dynamical systems, in particular the dynamics and optimal control of Hamiltonian and contact Hamiltonian differential equations with ports as well as the associated variational principles. But I am also interested in other aspects of analysis and optimisation such as mathematical aspects of artificial intelligence, chaotic dynamics, differential geometry, functional analysis, symmetries and much more in my research work, especially when they are linked to technical applications.
