About the MNZ

The Centre for Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MNZ) is a central institution of HTWK Leipzig for cross-faculty cooperation in teaching and research. Mathematicians, physicists and chemists work together here with the aim of ensuring excellent basic academic training in their subjects that is optimally tailored to the needs of the individual degree programmes and to intensify applied research in these fields across faculties.

The HTWK's Analytical Centre is affiliated to the MNZ and provides a comprehensive range of services for analysis, testing and measurement tasks and optimises the use of existing analysis and measurement technology. It also advises on the selection, procurement and operation of large-scale analytical equipment.
