With its range of courses, the MNZ aims to strengthen and further develop maths and science teaching at the HTWK. The intensive training in the fields of mathematics and natural sciences qualifies our graduates to a special degree and gives them clear advantages in an increasingly dynamic working world.

The courses at the MNZ ensure that beginners in engineering, economics and computer science are able to study and impart basic knowledge and methodological skills that enable them to use mathematical and scientific working methods as tools for solving their tasks in their studies and careers. Advanced students are given access to subject-specific content in the field of mathematics and natural sciences, which is a prerequisite for advanced courses in their degree programme.
