User regulations
The Li106 pool is managed in the HTWK domain and used for courses or by users of the MNZ.
The user login is done with the personal login of the HTWK domain. Each user has their own home directory(drive N) at the HTWK domain, where they can store a limited amount of their own data.
Personal documents, desktop and software environment are stored separately on a server and are (only!) available in the two pools (Li 106 and Li 107). A shared network drive is available for all users to exchange data with each other(drive T). Temporary user data on the local disc and on the shared network directory are deleted regularly.
Courses have priority over individual users. Any disruptions during courses are to be avoided. Individual use of free computers during this time is only possible with the consent of the lecturer.
Persons from outside the faculty will only be granted access authorisation in exceptional cases after prior registration if they are taking part in a course at the MNZ.
Software installations and manipulation of hardware and system configurations are not permitted without the authorisation of the person responsible for the pool.
In particular,
is prohibited
- the viewing and saving of data with pornographic, racist or terrorist content
- all activities aimed at demeaning the university or members of the university
The printers are intended for printing out documents etc. for the courses taking place - not for printing out scripts and books. Please bring your own printer paper.
Any damage or defects must be reported to the responsible persons immediately.
The consumption of food and drink and smoking are not permitted!
